Remove your record from a specific mugshot site
Every mugshot and arrest-record site handles removal differently. Some take a free request, some refuse most requests, and some are dead or repurposed. Pick the site your record is on for its current status and the exact steps.
Removal is free
- Removing your record from ArrestFactsLive · removal is free
ArrestFacts is now Rain-Street.org. The old domain still resolves and its pages now carry Rain-Street branding, which means a record you found under arrestfacts.com and a record under rain-street.org can be the same record on two doors of the same building.
- Removing your record from Arrests.orgLive · removal is free
Arrests.org does not charge, and one removal guide is blunt about it: do not pay an expedited removal fee if the site asks for one.
- Removing your record from BustedNewspaperLive · removal is free
BustedNewspaper does not charge for removal. Nothing on its removal page or in its terms asks for money, and anyone quoting you a fee to pay the site is describing something that does not exist.
- Removing your record from The Georgia GazetteLive · removal is free
The Georgia Gazette will never accept payment for removal, says so twice on its own site, and operates a Second Chance Policy that considers removal for convictions.

MugshotLook is operated by Infomatics LLC and is registered with the California Attorney General as a data broker.
- Removing your record from Mugshots.zoneLive · removal is free
Mugshots.zone does not charge. It has a real removal form and a stated ten-day window.
- Removing your record from RecentlyBookedLive · removal is free
RecentlyBooked publishes a removal policy that states it “does not charge fees for record removal, suppression, or modification.” It lists six grounds it will act on.
Harder cases
- Removing your record from Arre.stLive · refuses most requests
Arre.st takes no money and grants almost no requests. Its FAQ says removal happens only with a valid court order specifying the URL.
- Removing your record from Collier ArrestsLive · no published process
Collier Arrests covers a single Florida county and publishes no removal policy of any kind.
- Removing your record from Mugshots.comLive · refuses most requests
Mugshots.com now states in capital letters that it does not accept payment for removal.
- Removing your record from PublicPoliceRecordLive · years out of date
PublicPoliceRecord is still up. That contradicts what several removal guides imply and what we ourselves recorded on an earlier pass, so we are stating it plainly: on the day we checked, the site returned a working arrest-record search, a jail inmate lookup and crime-statistics pages.

STL Mugshots states on its homepage that it will not accept any type of payment for removal.
Offline or repurposed
- BustedMugshots is not serving anythingNot responding
BustedMugshots does not serve a page. Attempts to reach it fail during the TLS handshake — the machine answers and then the secure connection collapses, which is what a long-abandoned host looks like.
- JailBase is returning errors on every pathErroring on every path
JailBase returns a not-found error on every URL we tried, its own homepage included.
- Jailed.info does not respondNot responding
Jailed.info does not respond. Not an error page, not a parking page — the connection simply times out.
- RapSheets.org no longer publishes arrest recordsDomain repurposed
RapSheets.org still resolves, but what it serves is an unrelated affiliate blog — categories for Biography, Business, Gambling, Net Worth, Tech and Travel, with the newest posts dating from November 2023.
- UnpublishArrest was the cashier, and it is goneDomain repurposed
UnpublishArrest.com never published anything about you. It was the payment side of the Mugshots.com operation — the place people were sent once they asked to have a booking photograph taken down, and where they were charged a de-publishing fee.
