The old domain still resolves and its pages now carry Rain-Street branding, which means a record you found under arrestfacts.com and a record under rain-street.org can be the same record on two doors of the same building. Opting out is free and it is a form, not an argument — this site behaves like a data broker rather than a mugshot publisher, and that changes what works.

What this site is

Registered 12 June 2017 through EuroDNS, with the registrant masked behind a Luxembourg privacy service. One industry wiki places the operation's headquarters in Texas; that is single-sourced and conflicts with the WHOIS, so the operator's actual location is not established.
The rebrand is verifiable without taking anyone's word for it: pages still indexed under arrestfacts.com now carry Rain-Street titles.
Record URLs are flat name slugs at the domain root — /{First}-{Last}-{ID} — with parallel AMP versions at /amp/{First}-{Last}-{ID}. There is no state or county path; the state appears in the page title. That AMP duplicate is a second URL for the same record, and it is the one people forget.
It is treated by the privacy industry as a data broker, not a mugshot site. The services that cover it are opt-out subscriptions rather than mugshot-removal firms, and they all describe the process as free.

On the record page itself: click “View more”, then “Information control” beneath the photo.

What it asks for

Your name, an email address and a reCAPTCHA, then a confirmation link sent to that email. No court document, no disposition, no argument.

How long

The published estimates disagree — two services say within 48 hours, a third says about three weeks. Assume the longer one.

Do it twice

Handle the /amp/ version of your record as well as the main URL. They are separate pages and they can be indexed separately.

What the removal industry charges for this site

No mugshot-removal vendor quotes a price for this site, because the removal is free and self-service. The companies that cover it are subscription privacy services that bundle it with hundreds of other brokers.

One such service was checked in August 2026 and confirmed the site's own removal route was available with no fee stated.

If you are paying anyone for this specific site, you are paying for convenience across many sites at once — which is a legitimate thing to buy, but it is not the same as buying this removal.

Where Google comes into it

Nothing to claim under the exploitative-removal policy, because no payment is demanded. Once the listing is genuinely gone, Refresh Outdated Content is what clears the stale result. Note that Google's “Results about you” tool does not cover arrest records — it covers contact details and, since February 2026, government ID numbers. It is worth running anyway for anything else of yours it surfaces.

What we would charge you for, and what we would not

This one is genuinely free and genuinely self-service. Do it yourself. We will say so.
Where we are worth paying: the same record almost always exists under rain-street.org as well, plus the AMP duplicate, plus whatever county source both read from. Handling one door and calling it done is the usual failure here.
If the record contains an error — wrong person, wrong charge, wrong disposition — that is a stronger and more durable request than an opt-out, and it is worth making it that way.

Is ArrestFacts the same as Rain-Street?

Yes. The site rebranded, and pages on the old arrestfacts.com domain now serve Rain-Street-branded content. Search both names.

Does ArrestFacts charge to remove a record?

No. The opt-out is a free form on the record page, and it does not ask for court documents.

Why is my record still showing after I opted out?

Usually one of two things: the AMP copy of the page was not removed, or the search result is stale and needs a refresh request. Check the /amp/ URL first.

Do I need proof my case was dismissed?

No. This is a data-broker opt-out, not a disposition-based appeal. That makes it one of the easier removals in this whole category.

Google removes your phone number, home address, email and — since February 2026 — government ID numbers at no cost through its own tool. More than 10 million people have used it. It does not cover arrest records, so it will not touch the listing on this page, but it is free and worth running before you pay anyone for anything.
